Welcome to VAB-CODE ("we", "our", or "us"), accessible at our web platform. We are committed to protecting your personal privacy while providing a high-performance, in-browser code editor and WebAssembly compiler for students, teachers, and software engineers.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and safeguarded when you visit our website, compile code, or view advertising provided by third-party ad networks, including Google AdSense.

2. Zero Server Code Storage (Client-Side Architecture)

Privacy Guarantee: All code written in VAB-CODE (Python, C, C++, Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is executed 100% locally in your web browser using WebAssembly and sandboxed iframe environments. Your source code is never transmitted, processed, or saved to any central backend server.

When you click "Save to Chrome", your code snippets and daily streaks are saved exclusively inside your browser's private localStorage database on your own computer.

3. Google AdSense & Third-Party Advertising Cookies

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements and support free access to our programming tools for students worldwide. As a third-party vendor, Google uses cookies to serve ads on our site:

  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • Google may use the DoubleClick DART cookie to personalize ads according to your interests.
  • Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

Like most standard websites, hosting platforms (such as Google Firebase Hosting) automatically record standard server log information. These logs may include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamps, and click counts. This data is not linked to personally identifiable individual profiles and is used solely for technical monitoring, uptime verification, and security administration.

Depending on your location, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to request access to, deletion of, or non-discrimination regarding your personal data. Because VAB-CODE does not require user registration or maintain cloud account databases, we do not store personal profiles.
