Yeduguri Varun Kumar Reddy (Varun Reddy) is the founder, platform architect, and lead developer of VAB-CODE. He created the platform with the mission of making coding accessible, zero-cost, and instant for engineering students, educators, and developers worldwide.
Specializing in web application architecture, browser WebAssembly (WASM), and client-side developer tooling, Varun designed VAB-CODE as a full-featured programming workspace that operates without the need for expensive cloud servers or heavy desktop installations.
During his time working with engineering and computer science students, Varun observed a recurring challenge in college computer labs: students frequently struggled with slow laboratory PCs, misconfigured GCC/Clang/JDK paths, and Turbo C limitations. Furthermore, many students did not own high-performance laptops capable of smoothly running heavy modern IDEs like VS Code or PyCharm.
By leveraging modern browser technologies — including Pyodide for Python, client-side compilation for C/C++/Java, and progressive web application (PWA) standards — Varun engineered a platform that delivers instant feedback directly on the user's device.
No account creation, no subscriptions, and no package installation required. Practice immediately upon opening the page.
Code executes locally on the student's machine inside the browser sandbox. User code is never sent or logged to remote servers.
Includes built-in lab record PDF generators, 80+ curated practice challenges, DSA algorithms, and auto-indentation.
